the 13th edition of the Qala International Folk Festival is organised by the Qala Local Coucil and the Qala Menhir Folk Group.
A weekend of folk dance, music and traditional food.
The quaint village square is brought to life by a unique inter-multi cultural program, that has grown to attract locals and visitors for its quality entertainment in an intimate, village setting.

This firm favorite on the Gozo cultural calendar, the Festival is taking place over three days, between Friday, the 21st and Sunday, the 23rd of September, when the village of Qala, will be transformed into a hub of folk activities that give visitors an insight into the way our ancestors thought and lived in these islands.
Guest foreign folk groups also take part, this year they will be from Russia, Ireland and Italy.
The Festival’s intercultural program has grown to attract locals and visitors who enjoy this different and enjoyable spectacle.
